It is now reportedly almost inevitable that West Coast’s Scott Selwood will join his brother Joel at Geelong next season.

AFL.com.au has reported that West Coast has accepted that a move will be in the best interests of both parties.

Selwood has started as the sub three times this season after returning from injury, with speculation rife all season that the Selwood brothers will reunite at the Cattery.

The 25-year-old is a restricted free agent, meaning West Coast could stand to receive a first-round compensation draft pick, which it could then use in a trade for Sydney’s Lewis Jetta, who is reportedly considering a move home to Western Australia.
