Young St Kilda midfielder Sebastian Ross has signed a two-year contract extension.

The new deal keeps the 23-year-old at the Saints until at least the end of the 2018 season.

Ross has played 45 games since being selected with pick No.25 in the 2011 National Draft, but is in career career best form this season, averaging 26 disposals over the first six games.

“We've got a really exciting young list, we’ve made a fair bit of our games this year, barring the weekend, so it was a pretty easy decision to sign on, knowing what’s in front of us,” Ross told the club's website.
