during the round one AFL match between the Melbourne Demons and the Greater Western Sydney Giants at Melbourne Cricket Ground on March 26, 2016 in Melbourne, Australia.

GWS key defender Caleb Marchbank is reportedly being chased by a number of Victorian clubs, as he comes out of contract at season's end.

AFL.com.au has reported that St Kilda and Carlton are among the clubs interested in the highly rated 19-year-old.

However, he is said to be a required player at the club, with the youngster showing encouraging signs in his development late last year and in the opening two matches this season.

Marchbank is currently out injured and looks likely to miss the next five to seven weeks due to an ankle injury.

He re-injured his ankle during his first game back in the NEAFL last week, after initially sustaining the injury in Round 2 against Geelong. Marchbank has played seven games since making his debut in Round 12, 2015.
