Roos star Todd Goldstein in doubt for Tigers clash

North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein is in doubt for Friday night's clash with Richmond in Hobart.

Goldstein was hampered in the Roos' loss to Sydney last Friday after suffering a knock to his right knee.

Coach Brad Scott said the 27-year-old is likely to be named in the side on Thursday, but will be given up until the last minute to prove his fitness.

“I don’t know whether he’ll come up or not. You would think he would,” Scott said.

“Generally, if he cops a little knock he recovers pretty strongly from them.

“We’ll pick him in our side and probably plan on him playing but have contingency just in case."

The Kangaroos will host Richmond at Blundstone Arena in what will be the first ever Friday night AFL match in Tasmania.
