The young midfielder has only played a total of six games in his short career, but his promising form has been rewarded with a two year contract that will see him remain a North Melbourne player until at least the end of 2017.
The 20-year-old said he is excited by what the future may hold at the Roos.
“It’s an exciting time for the club. We’ve got a good young list and hopefully we’ll become really strong and a powerhouse of the competition,” Dumont said.
