Both Wells (ankle) and Waite (hip) remained in Melbourne and are set to complete last minute fitness tests in an attempt to play in the blockbuster clash and could travel to Adelaide either later tonight or even as late as tomorrow.
Jarrad Waite didn't fly either. In same boat as Wells - could go tonight or tomorrow.

In better news for Roos' fans, captain Andrew Swallow (concussion) is a certain starter, while Ben Cunnington (corked quad) traveled with the team and will face a fitness test in Adelaide prior to the match.
“Because it’s been such a short week, not all of those guys have been able to do their tests, so we’re going to have a bit of a light run at Adelaide Oval this afternoon," North Melbourne captain Andrew Swallow said.
"We’ll give those guys as much time as they need."
