Essendon forward Jake Carlisle has received “a lot of interest” from rival clubs, his manager Anthony McConville says.

The 23-year-old is due to fall out of contract at season’s end and is yet to recommit to the Bombers.¬†McConville said other clubs had expressed their interest in securing Carlisle’s services.

“There’s a lot of interest in Jake, no doubt, but at the moment (he) just wants to play good football,” McConville told Channel Seven on Monday night.

“We’ll revisit it (at) the halfway point of the year and the dialogue’s always open with Essendon, they know where we’re positioned and that’s where it’s at.”
