UPDATE: Hawks confirm Cyril also set to miss this weekend

UPDATE: Hawthorn has confirmed that Cyril Rioli will miss week’s clash with Gold Coast at Aurora Stadium to attend the funeral of his grandfather.

He joins Richmond youngster Daniel Rioli, who will miss the Tigers’ clash with Brisbane to also attend the funeral back home in the Northern Territory.

The pair’s grandfather, Cyril Kalippa, passed away earlier this month at the age of 81.

Both are expected to miss just one match.

Daniel Rioli has played 10 games so far this season, after being selected with pick No.15 in last year’s National Draft, while Cyril has played 12 of a possible 13 games this year.
