Gold Coast's Jaeger O'Meara is unlikely to play at senior level this season, according to FoxSports.

O'Meara has not played since 2014 after suffering a knee injury during pre-season last year.

He has slowly been working his way back to full fitness, playing several games in the NEAFL.

However, FoxSports reports that he will not be risked again this season, after experiencing soreness in his knee.

The 22-year-old may have played his last game for the club, with speculation mounting that he may seek a trade at season's end.

The 2013 rising star winner has played 44 career games with the Suns, averaging 21.5 disposals, 11.3 kicks, 10.2 handballs and 5.8 tackles per game.
