West Coast's attempts to lure Tim Kelly appear to have hit another snag, with Geelong asking the Eagles to up their current offer for the 24-year-old.

According to The Age, the Cats are asking the Eagles to add in a future first-round pick, along with their current offer of picks 20 and 22.

The Eagles believe Geelong's demands are too high, given Kelly has requested to head home.

Kelly finished second in Geelong's best and fairest could this season, after dominating his rookie season.
