Tim Kelly could be the first player traded in this year's trade period, with West Coast and Geelong reportedly agreeing to a deal for the 25-year-old in principle, according to AFL.com.au.
The deal currently sits with the Eagles giving up their 2019 first-round pick (currently pick 14), 2020 first-round pick, and pick 24 this year, with a swap of later picks to sweeten the deal.
The late swap could see the Eagles' pick 33 move to Geelong, which the Cats could use later on this week to lure Jack Steven away from St Kilda.
The move could be completed as early as today.
