Essendon defender Michael Hibberd has reportedly agreed to a four-year deal to join Melbourne.

Channel Seven’s Sam McClure has reported that Hibberd’s move to the Demons “looks deal done”, with the 26-year-old the first of the 12 current banned Bombers to leave the club.

Hibberd has played 84 career games with the Bombers since making his debut in 2011.

He averaged 22 disposals in 2015, as well as 5.5 contested possessions, 5.4 marks, 3.7 rebound 50s and 5.8 intercepts per game.

However, McClure says that Michael Hurley is still undecided on his future, with St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs showing strong interest in the 26-year-old key position player.
