Impending Western Bulldogs free agent Mitch Wallis is reportedly being courted by Brisbane, with the Lions joining the race for the 25-year-old.

The Herald Sun understand Brisbane joins Essendon and Gold Coast in the running for Wallis, with clubs set to offer the midfielder a four-year deal to prize him away from the Dogs.

Since joining Whitten Oval in 2011, Wallis has played 118 games for the Bulldogs, and played 17 matches in the club's premiership year before breaking his leg in the club's round 18 loss to St Kilda.

Essendon could use another midfielder as they look to build from the inside out, with the Suns are in the same boat as the Lions, and could use another strong body in the midfield.

Wallis is reportedly still thinking about his future with the Dogs, and could re-sign after another solid season in red, white and blue.
