Star Bombers halfback Adam Saad will make a decision on his future soon enough, but will first return home to Melbourne and spend time with his family before any decision is made.

Saad, 26, is currently out of contract and has been linked with a move away from the Bombers, with Carlton, Melbourne, Richmond and North Melbourne all potential destinations.

He played every game for the Bombers in 2020 and was a key contributor, averaging 19 disposals, four rebound 50s and three marks per contest.

Saad sid returning home and seeing family will be his first priority before any decision comes about regarding his future.

“Everyone wants to win a premiership, but the thing for me is just to assess everything,” Saad told Seven News at Brisbane Airport.

“Go back home and enjoy my time, see family again, it’s been three or four months and I haven’t seen my mum in that time.

“Me and my manager are working through it with the club, so first I’ll just go back home, see the family, relax and enjoy that.”
