Ed Vickers-Willis has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal, keeping the emerging Roo at Arden St until at least 2018.

The 20-year-old defender has impressed in recent months at VFL level, continuing to press his case for senior selection.

“I was always looking to re-sign with the club, but it’s great to know that they want me here as a player and know that I can contribute to the football club in the future, so I’m really excited to sign on for another two years with North Melbourne,” Vickers-Willis told

The number 33 had a frustrating start to life as an AFL footballer, with several injuries keeping him sidelined throughout 2015.

But after recovering from a pre-season shoulder injury, Vickers-Willis has put in solid performances for the club’s VFL affiliate Werribee.
