Andrew Swallow will once again captain the kangaroos in 2016, while Jack Ziebell has been named vice captain.
The pair are part of a five man leadership group that also features Shaun Higgins, Scott Thompson and Jamie Macmillan.
Swallow has been captain of the Roos since 2012 after taking over from Brent Harvey.
The 28-year-old has captained the club in 80 games, to sit fourth at the Roos for most games played as captain, behind only Wayne Carey (184 games), Wayne Schimmelbusch (150) and Adam Simpson (110).
