The Demons are seemingly on the verge of playing finals for the first time since 2006, while the Saints are also on the up with some impressive talent likely to see them play finals either this year or next after a five year hiatus.

Both team have plenty of players who have been starved of September action throughout their entire careers.

Meanwhile the Gold Coast Suns players are also starting to accumulate plenty of games without playing in a final.
