GWS defender Tim Mohr has suffered his second anterior cruciate ligament injury in as many years.

Mohr ruptured the ACL in his left knee for the first time last July against Geelong. The 26 year old had been back playing for just one month before rupturing his left ACL for the second time on the weekend playing for the UWS Giants in the NEAFL on Saturday.

GWS football manager Graeme Allan said the club will fully support Mohr as he begins the long raod to recovery once again.

“It’s an unfortunate injury for Tim who’s worked very hard to get himself back to full fitness,” Allan told the club’s website on Sunday evening.

“Tim is a highly valued member of the Giants and the whole club is behind him as he looks to overcome this setback,” Allan said.
