Reports emerged earlier this week that banned Essendon defender Michael Hibberd is set to join Melbourne next season on a four-year deal.
However, it seems a man who appears to be his father, believes his son will in fact be staying at the Bombers.
Geoff Hibberd commented on a social media post on Wednesday regarding Hibberd's possible move to Melbourne, with a simple message; "he isn't going anywhere".
Either Hibberd is yet to inform his family of his plans to leave the Dons and reports are incorrect, or Bombers' fans can breath a huge sigh of relief.
