Western Bulldogs' coach Luke Beveridge has confirmed his club is interested in Essnedon key position star, Michael Hurley.

Hurley, who is one of six of the 12 banned Bombers yet to re-sign, has reportedly attracted strong interest from St Kilda, Adelaide, Richmond and the Western Bulldogs.

"If any one of the boys who hasn't made a decision decides they want to move on, us, like the other 16 clubs, need to consider the prospect on them coming (into our club)," Beveridge, who is fresh from signing a four-year contract extension with the Bulldogs, said on Tuesday.

"Michael is one of those (players), and he's a very, very good player.

"If that's the decision Michael makes, we need to make sure we throw our hat in the ring."

Hurley, along with Jobe Watson, Michael Hibberd, Ben Howlett, Tayte Pears and Brent Stanton are all yet to re-commit to Essendon for 2017 and beyond.

Meanwhile, reports emerged on Monday night that Hibberd will join Melbourne next season a four-year deal.
