Fremantle are reportedly chasing Gold Coast forward Charlie Dixon, while the Lions are interested in out of contract Hawthorn’s Matthew Suckling.

The Dockers are interested luring a key forward to Fremantle to help out their struggling forward line, and Dixon is on their radar.

Fremantle are expected to meet with the key forward’s manager in the next two weeks to discuss a possible move to Western Australia. Brisbane and Adelaide have also signaled their interest in the 24-year-old.

Fremantle could be a perfect fit for Dixon, as the 2013 Grand Finalists have long wanted another key forward to partner and eventually replace captain Matthew Pavlich, as they push for an elusive premiership. They have previously attempted to lure Travis Cloke, Jeremy Cameron and Jack Riewoldt across to the Dockers.

The Brisbane Lions are reportedly interested in also signing free agent and Hawthorn premiership player Matthew Suckling to add experience to their side.

However, the Lions may lose a free agent of their own, with out-of-contract ruckman Matthew Leuenberger attracting interest from the Cats, as they search for an injury free big man.
