The Match Review Panel has released its findings for round five with several charges being laid.

The biggest name to face the music is Hawthorn’s Luke Hodge, who has been charged with striking North skipper Andrew Swallow. Hodge cannot accept an early plea and has been sent straight to the tribunal.

Hawks teammate Jordan Lewis was also charged with striking, for his high hit on Todd Goldstein. Lewis can accept a two-match ban with an early guilty plea.

Gold Coast’s Steven May was also suspended for two matches after being charged with rough conduct on Brisbane’s Tom Rockliff.

Young Lion Nick Robertson can accept a $1,000 fine for striking, with the offense classed as low impact.

Finally, Alex Rance was fined $1,000 for misconduct for throwing the ball into the face of Geelong captain Joel Selwood.
