Sydney defender Jake Lloyd has been withdrawn from the Swans’ side to face Hawthorn at the MCG on Friday night.

Lloyd travelled to Melbourne with his teammates, but did not pass a fitness test and will be replaced in the side by Daniel Robinson.

Swans assistant coach Josh Francous said Robinson is a handy inclusion and should fill the void left by Lloyd.

“Unfortunately Jake Lloyd hasn’t come up so he will be a late out for us and replaced by Dan Robinson,” Francou told sydneyswans.com.au.

“Dan Robinson has been in really good form for us so we are expecting him to be able to play a role for us.”

Hawthorn will enter the match unchanged.
