The Cats are set to regain Tom Lonergan for their clash with Richmond this Saturday after the defender missed last weekend’s loss to North Melbourne with concussion.
Lonergan was stretched off against the Gold Coast after being kneed in the head by forward Sam Day in a marking contest.
Geelong chose to take a cautious approach with the defender, but coach Chris Scott expects him to return this weekend.
“We think at this stage. He’ll be named in the squad, put it that way,” Scott said.
However, Andrew Mackie (quad) and Matthew Stokes (Achilles) will once again miss for the Cats.
