Former Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes has unveiled his all-time Showdown teams, comprised of the Power and Crows' best ever 22s.
One of the AFL's greatest rivalries, the two South Australian sides are 24-23 in all-time Showdown head-to-heads in the Crows' favour.
Cornes explained that the players chosen were not necessarily dominant in Showdowns, but simply the best of those to pull on the guernsey for either club.
โThese teams are based on the best players to have ever represented either the Power or the Crows,โ Cornes said on SEN SA Radio.
โThey didnโt have to necessarily have played in a Showdown, or even played well in past Showdowns.
โItโs simply the best 22s from each club and the idea is to think of the players in their prime."
Cornes found a place for himself on the bench to nullify dual-premiership Crows star Andrew McLeod.
โIt was tricky to pick the sides with some hard decisions made at the selection table. Iโve picked myself because Port need someone to tag Andrew McLeod!," he said.
โPremiership coaches Mark Williams and Malcolm Blight would oversee their respective clubs.โ
Well then... who would win?
