Richmond midfielder Dion Prestia will miss Saturday's clash with the Suns after coach Damian Hardwick said he would be rested.

According to Hardwick, Prestia only just made it through Richmond's win over the Giants on Sunday, and has been battling knee/calf soreness throughout the week.

With Prestia's omission, midfielder Anthony Miles looks set to return to the senior side after being a late withdrawal ahead of the GWS match last weekend.

Miles missed the game with a minor medial ligament strain, but has trained all week and is set to take Prestia's spot.
