West Coast has suffered a huge blow in the final quarter of their clash with the Giants and a potentially massive blow in their season, with Josh Kennedy suffering what appears to be a serious ankle injury.

Kennedy was helped from the ground by two trainers half-way through the final quarter with the Eagles leading by three points at Domain Stadium.

Kennedy pulled up short after changing direction in the forward line and immediately fell to the ground.

It is unknown precisely what the injury is at this stage, however, initial reports suggest it could either be an ankle injury or even an Achilles injury.

The full forward had ice wrapped onto his lower leg as he watched his side in the last term from the bench.
