Adelaide defender Tom Doedee has suffered a suspected ACL injury in the Crows' clash with Hawthorn on Saturday afternoon.

Doedee was involved in a tackle with Hawthorn veteran Jarryd Roughead, before immediately going down with the injury.

"It's a suspected ACL, not good news for Tommy," Crows' head of football Brett Burton said.

"He's an outstanding character, he's obviously disappointed ... but he's staying upbeat."
