Hawthorn has suffered a blow ahead of its clash with Gold Coast tomorrow afternoon.

Three-time premiership player, Luke Breust, has been withdrawn from the side due to illness.

He has been replaced in the side by Kade Stewart.

“Luke presented with a bout of gastro yesterday which prevented him from training," general manager of football operations," Jason Burt said.

“We were hoping he would be in better condition today and right for tomorrow afternoon’s game, but unfortunately he’s still not feeling 100 per cent so we have made the decision to withdraw him from the side.

“Kade’s been in really good form for Box Hill and it’s great that he’ll get his opportunity to get back into the senior side.”

Teia Miles has been added to the emergencies.

The last time the two sides met, in round three this season, the Suns defeated the Hawks by 86 points at Metricon Stadium.
