Retired Carlton champion Chris Judd has been appointed to the club’s coaching selection panel to find a new coach, along with Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou.

The club announced the selection panel via a mailout to Carlton members earlier today.

The panel is made up of five members, with Chief Executive Steven Trigg chairing the selection committee.

Other members include former Blues player Ken Sheldon and executive head hunter David Campbell.

“It will be an exhaustive and thorough process, as we know that is what our members expect,” Trigg said in a statement to the club’s members.

“We have captured a blend of perspectives from experienced coaches to a younger perspective fresh from the game. The panel has an ‘in football’ emphasis, with an ‘out of football’ perspective — and the expertise we need to make deep, clear assessments of all candidates.”
