Collingwood's Jordan De Goey has been referred to the AFL Tribunal for a minimum three-game suspension after being charged with rough conduct by the AFL's Match Review Officer.

The charge has been handed down following an incident between De Goey and West Coast's Elijah Hewett during the first quarter of Saturday's match at Optus Stadium, with the Magpies star colliding with Hewett, who was concussed as a result of the incident.

Following assessment from the MRO on the incident, De Goey's bump on Hewett has been graded as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact, resulting in three or more game ban and being directed to the Tribunal.

Collingwood are scheduled to face Melbourne, Adelaide, Gold Coast and the Western Bulldogs in their next four matches, meaning De Goey is likely to make his return against the Dogs in Round 17 should the length of the ban be upheld at the Tribunal.

The AFL Tribunal hearing will be held on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Eagle Liam Duggan has also been suspended, with the MRO handing down a one-game ban for a rough conduct charge.

Duggan can accept the suspension for his second quarter tackle on Collingwood's Taylor Adams.

The MRO graded the tackle as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

An accepted charge would mean Duggan is unable to face Adelaide in Round 13.
