North Melbourne coach David Noble has said the club should be "embarrassed" following Saturday night's 108-point-loss to Brisbane.
The Kangaroos struggled early on, conceding four goals in the opening ten minutes of the match, before falling apart in the second half.
The half time margin of 39 points was swiftly increased with the unrelenting Lions kicking 9 goals to one in the last quarter alone, running off with their biggest win since Round 16, 2007.
“We let ourselves down enormously, we should be embarrassed,” Noble said.
“I think the coaches are putting a high demand on what we require and we need our players to toe the line.
“If you don’t bring your energy, you get that result.
“It’s not acceptable.”

North found themselves behind on the scoreboard and stat sheet all night, with the Lions leading the inside 50's count 78-40.
“It’s really poor on our standards,” Noble said.
“Close to 80 points (conceded) on turnovers so no, I’m not happy.
“Midfield got outworked, our defenders were poor – they let their man lead them to the ball, and our forwards didn’t play in front.
“There’s got to be consequences around training, consequences around skill errors.”
North face another challenge next week, travelling to Sydney to face the Swans on Saturday afternoon.
“We’ve got another 20 weeks to embrace (the challenge),” he said.
“We’ve got to increase our rate at training, increase our accountability… and keep it really simple.
“Defenders - play on your man, mids be accountable and forwards - you’ve got to try and play in front.”
It was a bad day for the Kangaroos in the VFL too, losing to Brisbane by 104 points.
