Adelaide has received some positive news on the injury front, with scans revealing no significant damage to captain Taylor Walker's ankle.

Walker finished the match on the bench after injuring his ankle during the final term of the Crows' loss to Geelong on Saturday night.

But Adelaide General Manager of High Performance Brett Burton said the skipper will be given until the very last minute to prove his fitness.

“Taylor had scans on his right ankle and fortunately they revealed no significant damage,” Burton said.

“He will go through normal recovery protocols and a decision on whether he plays on Sunday will be made later in the week.”
