Experienced GIANTS forward Steve Johnson will miss the next 1-2 weeks with foot soreness.
Johnson, 32, hasn’t missed a game since joining the GIANTS ahead of the 2016 season.
The veteran of 265 AFL games has kicked 24 goals this season and is averaging 19.6 possessions a game.
“We probably should have rested him a few of weeks ago, and I was disappointed I didn’t make that decision,” coach Leon Cameron said after the Giants’ win over the Swans on the weekend. “He plays such a physical brand of footy and just likes to hit bodies.”
