GWS young defender Caleb Marchbank has re-injured his ankle and will miss the next five to seven weeks, the club has confirmed.
Marchbank suffered the injury in just his first game back in the NEAFL after initially injuring his ankle in the Giants' Round 2 win against the Cats.
The injury will not require surgery, but the club will take a cautious approach with the 19-year-old.
Meanwhile, co-captain Phil Davis will miss another fortnight due to the hamstring strain his suffered in Round 7.
