Geeling ruckman Rhys Stanley is reportedly in doubt for the Cats' clash with GWS on Saturday afternoon.

Fox Sports has reported that Geelong will make a last minute call on Stanley, after the 25-year-old left the field last Sunday with a midfoot sprain.

He has been named in the Cats' side for tomorrow's match, but he did not complete the full training session on Thursday.

“We’re optimistic. We haven’t made a call on that just yet,” Coach Chris Scott said.

“There is some doubt over him, but the pleasing thing is that it looks like, if anything, it’s going to be a short-term issue.”

Geelong play GWS at Simonds Stadium at 4.35pm AEST.
