Geelong has suffered an injury blow, with midfielder Josh Caddy set to miss between six to eight weeks due to a knee injury, the club has confirmed.

Caddy injured his knee late in the Cats' win over the Bulldogs in Saturday night, with scans confirming he has strained his medial ligament.

The injury will not require surgery.

The 23-year-old has played every game so far this season, booting 13 goals and averaging 21.5 disposals.
