Fremantle youngster Tanner Smith will miss the next six to eight weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Smith suffered the injury during the third quarter of the Dockers' win over the Power on the weekend.

“He’ll be a couple of weeks (and) then we’ll rehab, but we do hope to get him back on the field this year.” Fremantle high performance manager Jason Weber said.

Meanwhile Matt de Boer and Brady Grey suffered injuries while playing for Peel Thunder in the WAFL on the weekend.

“Brady (Grey) got his foot caught underneath him and he’s had a syndesmosis injury, so we’ll be following that through from a medical perspective,” Weber said.

“Matt de Boer was caught in a contact incident and injured the medial aspect of his knee.”

Grey is expected to miss six to eight weeks, while de Boer will miss four to six weeks.
