Former North Melbourne player and current Western Bulldogs list manager, Jason McCartney, will join the Giants in 2018.

McCartney will take over from the departing Craig Cameron as the Giants' list manager.

“Jason has a proven track record as one of the most highly regarded football administrators in the AFL and we’re delighted he’s joining the club,” GWS General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell said.

“Jason’s strength is in list management and we feel he will compliment Adrian Caruso and his recruiting team.

“His work in managing the Western Bulldogs’ list and TPP, culminating in the 2016 Premiership, has been outstanding and we feel he will be a perfect addition to the GIANTS' football department."

McCartney, who played 182 career matches, has worked at the Bulldogs since 2011. He will begin his role at GWS in the new year.
