Former Western Bulldogs champion, Brad Johnson, has joined Geelong as a part-time, specialist coach until mid January.

Johnson has taken up a role to work with the Cats' forward group on part-time basis.

The 40-year-old retired in 2010, after a club record, 364 games.

He is a member of the Bulldogs' team of the century, a six-time All-Australian, three-time club best and fairest winner and was captain of the club from 2007 to 2010.
