Essendon star Joe Daniher has nominated Brisbane as his new home for 2021, according to The Age's Sam McClure.

The gun forward will hold a meeting with the Bombers in the next 24 hours where he is expected to tell them he wants to become a Lion.

The 26-year old is a restricted free agent, meaning the Bombers have the right to match any offer he receives.

According to AFL Media's Mitch Cleary, Brisbane's medical history of rejuvenating injured players played a key role in him wanting to join the club.

Daniher has played just 15 games over the last three seasons due to ongoing groin injuries.

It comes a day after Bombers speedster reportedly informed the club that he wants to be traded to Carlton in the upcoming November window.

MORE TO COME.
