Collingwood high flyer Jame Elliot has signed a three year contract extension keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2018.

The young forward had been expected to sign a new deal in March, however, the process hit a speed bump when he changed management companies.

Th 22 yeard old has played 57 gmes for the Pies since being drafted in 2011 and has kicked 78 goals.

Elliot, known his marking ability, won the Mark of the Year Award in 2013.

Tom Langdon is expected to join Elliot in re-signing with the club, with an announcement expected to be iminent.
