The squads for the EJ Whitten Legends game are starting to fill out, with both clubs naming their captains and coaches ahead of the August 30 event.

The Victorian team will be led by none other than Brendan Fevola, while Dermott Brereton will coach the Vics, with Daisy Pearce as his assistant.

For the All-Stars, Andrew Jarman has been named as the skipper, with Wayne Carey set to coach the side, with the help of assistant Sabrina Frederick.

AAMI Park will host the event this year, with an AFLX style to the game.

There will be four 15-minute quarters, with 10-point supergoals on offer outside the 'launch zone' all night long.

The game will also see celebrity Power Players introduced at the 10-minute mark of each quarter.

“I’ll always love playing footy but it’s great to be able to make a difference as well. The E.J. Whitten Legends Game keeps getting bigger and better each year, which is important for fundraising, but also for increasing awareness of men’s health issues,” Fevola said.
