Carlton has landed Hawthorn ruckman Marc Pittonet, with the Blues sending picks 54 and 63 to the Hawks for the big man.

Hawthorn will send Pittonet and 61 back to Carlton.

The 23-year-old has played seven games for the Hawks over the past five years, including two games in 2019.

“Marc has a big physical presence and plays with real physicality and aggression, he is a great fit for us,” Carlton's GM of List Management and Strategy Stephen Silvagni told the club's website.

“He is 23, has already been on an AFL list for five years and as a ruckman he is coming into his own.

“We look forward to Marc working with our ruck coach Hamish McIntosh as he adds some real strength to our ruck division.”
