Collingwood star Dane Swan was pulled over by Police last night on his way to get coffee with a friend after he was mistaken for a bikie member.

Swan was the passenger in a friend’s car when the Police reportedly pulled the pair over.

3AW boundary rider Nick Butler said Swan was picked up from the team hotel in Adelaide to have coffee and watch the State of Origin.

“[They’re] told to get out of the car, hands in the air, there was certainly cuffs out.”

Luckily, it did not take long for Police to realise they had made a mistake and the 31-year-old was let go.

“Story goes that SA police officers had been sweating on some bikies… they saw my friend Gerrard in his hoodie (and) then Swanny with his tatts out they thought they were bikies and swooped.”
