Collingwood star Jordan De Goey is the latest Mapie under an injury cloud in the wake of Saturday's qualifying final loss to Geelong, with the polarising midfielder undergoing scans on a suspected shoulder issue.
The Pies are already resigned to the concept of being without onballer Taylor Adams for the remainder of their campaign, with Collingwood coach Craig McRae revealing after his side's six-point defeat to the Cats that his hard-nosed midfielder may have torn his groin "off the bone".
The loss of Adams is a major blow for the Magpies as they now turn their attention to a must-win semi-final clash against Fremantle next Saturday night, and their midfield stocks may have been hindered further as De Goey and the club await results on recent scans.
Albeit seen to be precautionary, De Goey has undergone scans on a possible shoulder issue, according to 9 News'ย Ayrton Woolley.
Collingwoodโs injury concerns not confined to Taylor Adams.

De Goey missed several matches in the back-end of this season due to a quad strain, with the injury and personal leave having limited the 26-year-old to 17 games this year.
He was among Collingwood's best in Saturday's loss, recording 26 disposals, 8 clearances, 9 tackles and 2 goals.
McRae is now set to move magnets for next weekend's clash at the MCG, with several fringe midfielders in the mix to replace Adams.
Finlay Macrae took Adams' place during his recent absence due to a groin injury in the final rounds of the home and away season, with the young ball-winner now set to press his case for a reprieve.
Recruit Nathan Kreuger, who replaced Adams in Saturday's loss as the Magpies' medical sun, will also be eyeing a starting role in his side's semi-final.
Collingwood will host Fremantle at the MCG on Saturday, September 10 at 7:25pm (AEST).
