Five AFL coaches believe the GWS Giants will lift the 2017 premiership cup despite their lengthy injury list.
In a survey conducted by AFL.com.au for the AFL Record, 17 of the 18 coaches answered the anonymous questionnaire, with five suggesting it was the Giants' cup to lose.
After starting the season 0-6, Sydney are now equal second according to the coaches, with the Swans and the Cats both gathering three votes.
Both South Australian clubs picked up two votes each, as the Crows and Power rounded out the five clubs who all received more than one vote.
Port Adelaide have impressed the coaches the most in terms on clubs on the rise in 2017, with their climb from 10th last season to fifth this year gathering five votes for the most surprising team.
Western Bulldogs and Essendon both received three votes, with the Tigers grabbing two.
The coaches also turned to each other to give feedback, with Geelong's Chris Scott and Port Adelaide's Ken Hinkley voted as the hardest men to coach against.
Scott and Hinkley both collected three votes each, while Ross Lyon (Fremantle), Luke Beveridge (Western Bulldogs) and Alastair Clarkson (Hawthorn) both drawing two votes.
The full survey will be in this weekend's round 20 edition of the AFL Record.
