Clarkson cleared by Police

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has been cleared of any wrongdoing by South Australian Police following an altercation with a Port Adelaide fan after the Hawks’ round four loss to the Power.

Clarkson was interviewed by SA Police after a video of the altercation was posted online.

SA Police released a brief statement, explaining that no further action would be taken.

“SA Police consider this matter to be finalised and no further comment will be made,” the statement said.
