Two-time Brownlow Medallist Chris Judd has departed Channel 9's Footy Classified, with the show set to undergo further changes for the 2020 season, according to The Herald Sun.ย

Judd found difficulties balancing the workload between the show and his duties as Carlton's football director this season, as the club faced a turbulent 2019.

The former Carlton and West Coast star was constantly ridiculed on the show by fellow presenter Gary Lyon, for backing ex-coach Brendan Bolton.

Judd also came under fire for his "don't want someone with training wheels on" remark during the clubs search for a new coach, with the line seen to be pointed towards then-caretaker coach David Teague.

Channel 9 are set to introduce new hosts and potentially extra shows for their 2020 campaign, with Judd unlikely to be the only change.

With host Craig Hutchison's exterior business commitments and media umbrella continuing to grow, doubt remains over his pairing with Caroline Wilson, who has been with the show since its inaugural season in 2007.

Essendon great Matthew Lloyd took over from Wayne Carey, Glenn Archer and Grant Thomas in 2013 to join the program.

The Monday night show produced by Eddie McGuire's JAM TV is set for a shake up with a potential increase to at least two nights a week for 2020.

The program is likely to look at implementing a rotation between hosts, with Kane Cornes expected to feature on the show.
