Richmond's Dustin Martin has received a two-game suspension for elbowing GWS Giant Adam Kennedy during his side's loss to the Giants in Sydney.

Martin will now miss the Tigers' clashes with Port Adelaide and Sydney.

"Taking into account the visual look of the incident, the player reaction, the medical report and the potential to cause a more serious injury … we decided the appropriate grading was medium in this case," Match Review Officer Michael Christian told AFL.com.au's The Verdict.

Martin has also been fined $1500 for striking GWS midfielder Matt de Boer.

Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett ($2000) and midfielder Zak Butters ($2000) and Fremantle forward Jesse Hogan ($2000) were all handed financial sanctions for separate incidents over the weekend.
